From the Silicon Valley to the TriState
The days of haste
A well deserved break for a slaughtered mind
Gift of a kind, truly of a kind
Hustle and bustle,
Chaos and the rustle
From the lady of liberty
To the antics, infinity
Ground Zero, it was

My Goodness!!! Am I losing the art of expressing in my own blog. There used to be days when I used to blog almost daily and sometimes even more than 2 posts a day.

But now, the whole situation is on a roll!!! I cant seem to find any words to type my emotions here!!! Not sure why!

Not that I dun have anything to write about. Infact there are so many exciting things happening now currently which I would rather not blog about. Way too personal, I guess. But dun bother. Allz fine!

One year and five months! Dun ask me for what? Just a simple calculation which made me smile to myself!

Maybe I am way too excited. I cant help smiling again and again as I think of the turn of things in this roller-coaster ride of life. But just that I am happy for myself, my heart and my soul.

Just incase, someone forgot! Today is Thursday, but I dint get to meet my first instant guy though. But it felt good when someone concerned about you did an extra favour so that you dint miss something. Too much of “somes”. But no mind to keep blogging about each and every scene of my day. But a Big THANKS to someone!!!

Anyways, the world’s busiest city is awaiting me and my dream place is ready to wrap me in its arms. All this and more!!!

Say networking and the next word that comes to the mind is Orkut. Whoever thought about this idea should be given the next Nobel prize. That would be my personal recommendation, that is, if they accept my opinion. Grinz!!! As we get to meet all our long lost and dear friends, I wonder, Did I really have so many friends in my lifetime? Having more than 350 friends. Friends as in F-R-I-E-N-D-S and not just A-C-Q-U-A-I-N-T-A-N-C-E-S. I dont accept any strangers as friends and I dont send friend requests to those whom I dunno.

All of them are my own. My Friends. Friends. The only relation in life that God and Indian parents give freedom to choose ourselves.

So why this blah blah all of a sudden. Orkut. Accepted! The Best. Accepted! Friends. Accepted. So what? You may wonder!!!

Hold on…If someday, sometime you were forced to delete all of your friends list excepting for one, would be able to choose that special person?
Just one friend. “F-R-I-E-N-D”. No tags attached.

Incase I was pushed into such a situation, I know whom i would be choosing among my 350+ gems. My best ever. My one and only. My best friend.

The one relationship that started with hatred, blossomed as acquaintances and turned out to be the most fragrant one in my life.

All times of my recent life, recorded diligently in his memory. Such is his concern. A concern rarely found. Selfless. Honest. Always ready to lend a soothing shoulder. All these and more. But with no tags attached. That is the most precious part of our blessed friendship. Nothing more than pure friendship and still we stay close to each other. All our chit-chats, useless fights, not-so-long-hourly talks, but anytime-phone-calls. Thank God, I found him. The “Vetti Payyan” in my life. My Best ever friend.

The one who stayed with me throughout. All through my miseries, all through my memorable moments, all through my joy.

So for the one who maintains the colors in my life, KUDOS!!! You are indeed the rainbow of my life.

There were days when I used to complain about the long hours of travel from my home to my workplace and this jinx continued even beyond seas and oceans!!!

My office is about 15 miles from my apartment and I need to board a public transport to commute daily. Almost 3 hours of my precious day is spent in travel.

Atleast till I get my driving license for which I had sowed the seed yesterday by clearing the written test. Just another step and I would be eligible for driving here in California.

But these days, I am getting used to the travel in the bus, enjoying my music, sometimes enjoying my books and nowadays enjoying the handsome guy behind the wheel too. Wink!!!

I know it is kinda weird. But from day 1, I have not been able to take my eyes off. I wont say he is gorgeous. I wont see he is the most handsome guy I have seen. So wat? He is still one whom I can ogle on.

The saddest part of the story is that I get to see him only once a week. Sigh!!!

Watever!!! There are many things that I have started doing offlate and am sure the life and the rollercoaster ride(as Paulo Coelho states in his “Eleven Minutes”) that I have been passing through has smoothened for a while, a short while maybe. Whatsoever, I am starting to enjoy this ride and will do so till the end!!!

P.S. Watched Veer Zaara for the first time yesterday and have fallen in love with it.

Just when you think things are not going right, you suddenly find a new lease of life, a lovely one too…

One that you havent dreamt of. Like the calm after the high torrent of waves.
True, Light accompanies darkness and brings in means and ways where you start learning to tackle the darkness.

I guess am getting philosophical. But whatever happens is for a good reason. And I truly believed in this all through and will continue doing so for years to come.

Almost more than a week of my own apartment, my own cooking, few appreciations that travelled far away, right across the seas to my mom, few health problems etc, etc…

But this experience here is teaching me so many new things.

Very Many New things…

Getting to do small things and the joy in completing them.
I guess it is all part of getting matured!!! Do I really have to get matured?
Cant I stay as a kid all thru my life..Sigh!!!

Watever, few more trips coming along…San Diego, Los Angeles, NY and Niagara.
Am not sure which of them is gonna stay in my memory for long.

All are gonna be special in a different way, but still…

Life’s just Like that. Full of mysteries. We need to take it as it comes…Period.
